Erinys Quartet, Motus Quartet and Absalon String Quartet advanced to the Final of the Trondheim International Chamber Music Competition (TICC) 2025. The final will take place in the Freemason Hall in Trondheim on Saturday 27 September at 17:00. It will also be streamed live.
Jury leader Levon Chilingirian announced the results of the first round at 15:45 on 24 September in the Freemason Hall in Trondheim. Some of the best young string quartets in the world have gathered to compete in the beautiful Freemason Hall in Trondheim. The best will take home money, concert engagements, honours and glory.
The Norwegian violinist Øyvor Volle has agreed to replace Cam Kjøll at short notice, both as festival artist and jury member at Trondheim Intl. Chamber music competition. Unfortunately Cam Kjøll has had to cancel due to illness.

We are proudly presenting the participants at the 13th Trondheim Chamber Music Competition. Celebrating 25 years of working with our finest chamber music ensembles at our bi-annual competition and academy. The string quartets will compete in the beautiful Freemason Hall. The best will win cash, concert engagements, honour, and glory.
The application form is now closed. We wish the jury the best of luck with the preselection. Invitations will be sent in mid-May and the official announcement of the participating quartets will come on 11 June. Stay tuned!
