All ensembles are awarded a specially made artwork by Norwegian artist Eigil Nordstrøm.
Eigil Nordstrøm

Eigil Nordstrøm is a visual artist born in Trondheim in 1991. He studied Fine Art at The Art Academy in London, and completed his Masters degree at City & Guilds of London Art School in 2014, after which he was awarded the inaugural Art Gemini Prize. He attended the Turps Studio Programme for two years, while lecturing on the Bachelor programme in Fine Arts at The Art Academy for eight years. Nordstrøm has had several solo exhibitions, including at Unit G Gallery and The Stone Space in London and Galleri Ismene in Trondheim. Nordstrøm has also received critical acclaim as a curator, most notably in connection with the exhibition "Weathering the Storm" at APT Gallery in London and Kjøpmannsgata Ung Kunst in Trondheim, featuring artists such as Håkon Bleken and Sverre Bjertnæs. Nordstrøm lives and works in Oslo.
Nordstrøm has an upcoming solo presentation titled "Alt skal males til støv" (Grind it all to dust), at Kjøpmannsgata Ung Kunst in Trondheim. The opening for the solo exhibition is 17 October at 18:30, and it will be on display until 4 January 2026. Read more here.
