The level of the string quartets were extremely high, and the jury has chosen to take four string quartets to the finale!
We hereby announce the results after the semifinal at TICC, held at the Freemasons Hall in Trondheim, Norway, 28th September. Among the five semifinalists five countries were represented. The jury chose to take four of the quartets to the final.
Finale playing order:
Simply Quartet (China/Norway)
Omer Quartet (China/USA)
Esmé Quartet (USA/South Korea)
Maxwell Quartet (UK)
The final is held 30th September 18.00. Announcement of the winners will be given afterwards.
